What is Prayer?

Prayer is Spiritual. True prayer is the attitude of our heart and mind. It is Receiving and thanksgiving.  When we pray we must relax prior to our prayer time, and let go so that your prayer is effective. We must enter into his gates with Thanksgiving and praise. We must enter into His presence unburden.

We need to stop pushing the issue with God. I am one that has to have the last word. But, God is the one who gets that opportunity! When we pray we need to Be Still and know that God is at work in our situation. Stop fussing, Stop arguing with God, and stop focusing so much energy on the situation you are in.

After praying, give God a chance to work in and through the situation for you.

After praying I repeat a statement of Truth an Affirmation. I speak the words slowly, and repeat them until I truly understand the meaning of the affirmation and their quickening power. The affirmations may be contrary to the facts, but they are not contrary to Truth!

Last, I do more than expect results. I see them as already established. Jesus said, “What things so ever ye desire, when ye pray, Believe (Key word here) that you receive them, and ye shall have them.” (Mark 11:23) We as children of God must remember that we are God’s children. God is a Loving Father who wants to see His children prosper. “Let the Lord be magnified who has pleasure in the prosperity of his children.” (Psalms 64:10) We are heirs to Divine Abundance here on earth as it is in Heaven.
